OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Recruiting Assistant assists the Human Resources Recruiting team with daily activities and administrative support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists with creating and publishing job postings;
  • Schedules interviews, both in-person and virtual, for members of the recruiting team;
  • Greets applicants upon arrival for in-person interviews, coordinates completion of required pre-employment paperwork and administers pre-employment testing, as needed;
  • Escorts candidates to and from in-person interviews;
  • Drafts and distributes offer letters;
  • Assists with various aspects of the onboarding process for all new hires;
  • Serving as point of contact for candidate questions throughout interview and onboarding process;
  • Prepares and maintains standard and ad hoc reports for recruiting department;
  • Directs employees and managers to appropriate HR personnel to handle specific questions or employee issues;
  • Provides general administrative support for the HR department including answering calls and taking messages, opening and distributing mail, making copies and filing;
  • Prepares and tracks payments for employee referrals, school verifications, employment verifications, agency fees and other invoices;
  • Responsible for record keeping and creating administrative paperwork such as forms, letters, memorandums, etc.; and
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree with high academic standing preferred;
  • At least one year of related administrative work experience preferred;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, often under time constraints;
  • Superb communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Strong judgment and ability to deal discreetly with confidential information;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Ability to learn and utilize recruiting and HRIS products built specifically for the Firm; and
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed.

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The estimated salary range for this position is $62,000 to $66,000 plus overtime. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
