OVERVIEW

Provides administrative assistance to the Chief Business Development Officer and the Associate Director, Business Development Systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the Firm’s Foreign Law Firm Initiative by maintaining calendars for partners; arranging meetings, conferences and travel and tracking activities in the Firm CRM system;
  • Assists with daily reports on company executive moves for partners;
  • Produces web research;
  • Enters data, perform searches and runs reports, lists and labels from InterAction;
  • Updates contacts on an ongoing basis;
  • Provides support for PowerPoint presentations and Excel;
  • Provides backup administrative support to the Business Development Department including handling phones, arranging and calendaring meetings and processing expense reports on an as-needed basis; and
  • Performs other duties as assigned,

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required; College degree preferred;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a large corporate environment, preferably in a law firm;
  • Excellent word processing, PowerPoint and Excel skills;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Excellent proofreading skills;
  • Knowledge of database/CRM skills preferred such as InterAction;
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented;
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies;
  • Capable of solving problems and meeting strict deadlines;
  • Ability to write short letters and e-mails;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities;
  • Ability to deal discreetly with confidential information;
  • Calm demeanor and excellent judgment; and
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

 

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The estimated salary range for this position is $62,000 to $70,000 plus overtime. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
