OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Systems Analyst to join our Financial Systems team.  The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining key financial applications including IntApp Time, Chrome River, and Elite 3E. 

 

This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong understanding of financial data structures, reporting, and business processes in a professional services environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

System Support & Maintenance

  • Provides day-to-day support for financial systems, including IntApp Time, Chrome River, and 3E;
  • Troubleshoots issues, manages user inquiries, and liaises with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely resolution;
  • Assists with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features and functionalities.

Financial Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Develops and maintains SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports for internal stakeholders;
  • Works within the 3E framework to utilize metrics and existing reports and assist in transitioning user to built-in tools;
  • Manages integrations between systems and effectively troubleshoots issues;
  • Analyzes financial and operational data to provide actionable insights to business users;
  • Ensures data accuracy and consistency across systems.

User Training & Documentation

  • Creates and updates user guides, training materials, and system documentation;
  • Supports training efforts for system users, including onboarding and ad hoc assistance.

Process Improvement

  • Collaborates with Finance and IT teams to streamline workflows and improve system efficiency.
  • Participates in projects to enhance system integration and reporting capabilities; and
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Associate's degree or higher in Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field;
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in financial systems support or similar role in a law firm or professional services environment preferred;
  • Working knowledge in Elite 3E and understanding of its database schema;
  • Experience with IntApp Time and Chrome River is strongly preferred;
  • Proficient in SSRS report development; ability to write complex SQL queries preferred;
  • Exposure to financial dashboards or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus;
  • Knowledge of legal billing and timekeeping processes;
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, and expense management;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment; and
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
