- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Mathematics or Business Administration; MBA or CPA a plus;
- 3+ years related experience in pricing or similar role, preferably in a legal or other professional services environment;
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex financial metrics both in writing and orally;
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and ability to synthesize numerical data and metrics effectively;
- Knowledge of characteristics and phasing for different types of litigation and M&A matters combined with the willingness and ability to develop robust understanding of the Firm’s practice areas;
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling in MS Excel with proficiency in manipulating raw data into valuable information;
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Elite 3E; prior experience and proficiency in SQL preferred;
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with staff and attorneys at all levels;
- Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate several activities at one time;
- Capable of solving problems and meeting hard deadlines in a fast-paced, detail oriented, and time sensitive environment;
- Dependable team player who strives to contribute to a growing pricing team and is continually utilizing creativity to identify new ways that the team can grow as a valuable asset to the Firm;
- Excellent judgment and ability to deal discreetly with confidential information; and
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $125,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
