OVERVIEW

The Financial Systems Analyst will be responsible for the support, maintenance, development and implementation of the Firm’s financial software systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as a liaison between the IT and Finance departments to provide technical solutions in order to meet user needs;
  • Participates on large scale special projects including software conversions and upgrades;
  • Writes code to generate reports and data extracts; modifies or develops inquiries and forms to customize reports;
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues with scheduled processes;
  • Administers security of systems;
  • Provides support for system balance issues, as needed;
  • Assists with design, development and validation of financial reporting;
  • Assists with selection, planning, testing, implementation and integration of third party applications and interfaces;
  • Evaluates technical and business industry trends and recommends appropriate systems alternatives;
  • Provides first line of support for IntApp Time, eBillingHub and other financial systems as necessary;
  • Prepares written communications for tasks and projects and delivers presentations to a wide range of audiences; and
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or equivalent experience;
  • 5-7 years of related financial systems experience within a professional service organization (law firm experience highly preferred);
  • Experience leading large-scale software upgrades and conversions desired;
  • Extensive knowledge of Elite 3E, including familiarity with financial systems masking concepts;
  • Knowledge of SQL and SSRS is a must; exposure to PowerBI or IntApp IB is a plus;
  • Hands-on experience working with 3E IDE and ability to perform basic development;
  • Ability to act independently, keep track of projects and follow up;
  • Superior verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with Partners, Associates, managers and non-legal staff;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Superior multi-tasking skills;
  • Superior customer-relations and service skills; and
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000 to $190,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
