- JD required;
- At least 5-10 years of related experience, ideally within a law firm or other professional service firm environment;
- Solid understanding of law firm practice, as well as experience in project managing and writing for various audiences and/or in a professional services environment;
- Strong leadership abilities with proven expertise in project management;
- Ability to work effectively collaboratively and independently while providing strong oversight and direction to junior team members;
- Excellent attention to detail, creative writing and proofreading skills;
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, meet time-sensitive deadlines and actively follow up as needed to meet deadlines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate directly with senior personnel and partners at the Firm;
- Ability to synthesize data from various inputs and accurately consolidate the information in a coherent narrative, and to turn technical jargon into clear copy;
- Solid strategic thinking and problem-solving capability, coupled with excellent judgment and decision-making abilities;
- Strong intuitive skills and the ability to translate experience and lessons from one project to the next;
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality;
- Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems;
- Prior experience utilizing technology, including websites, intranets, extranets, databases, knowledge management tools and presentation software; and
- Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating and business needs, including working additional hours, as needed.
This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The estimated salary range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
