OVERVIEW

The Senior Case Project Manager at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP serves as liaison between paralegals and attorneys within a specific case team to facilitate a two-way flow of communication between both parties.  The ideal candidate will know how to meet the Firm’s standards of excellence in supporting our attorney teams and deliver superior service to our clients. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages mid-size team of individuals working on mediation-related materials, including making team aware of deadlines, schedule and supervising workflow and assignments;
  • Performs high level data analysis and oversees the tracking, maintenance and reporting on various statistics for the client, including overall mediation and settlement statistics and various financial metrics;
  • Interfaces regularly with paralegal team regarding mediation claim submission and tracking;
  • In conjunction with case manager, schedules mediations and confirms claimant lists for each mediation;
  • Coordinates with site visit scheduler to ensure upcoming mediations are covered by appropriate expert teams;
  • Circulates mediation materials to opposing counsel and mediator;
  • Coordinate with paralegal team regarding settlement agreements and with case manager regarding payment; and
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • At least 6-10 years of related work experience, preferably in a paralegal or project management role;
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to interpret statistical information with ease;
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint; advanced proficiency in Excel required;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of technology and database applications;
  • Must be detail oriented;
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and coordinate several activities at one time;
  • Ability to take and follow instructions as well as delegate tasks to others;
  • Ability to interact effectively with staff and attorneys at all levels;
  • Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds; and
  • Availability to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice.

 

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday.  The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000 plus overtime.  The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
