OVERVIEW

Under the direction of the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, the Senior Manager of D&I – Pipeline Initiatives & Talent Recruitment will manage the implementation and oversight of the Firm’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives through the lens of pipeline development and talent acquisition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs and implements a robust global diversity, inclusion and belonging strategy to help the Firm identify and retain diverse talent at all levels;
  • Serves as the subject matter expert and partners with legal and administrative professionals recruitment teams to drive key diversity recruitment efforts and initiatives across the Firm;
  • Leads projects related to the Firm’s diversity recruiting strategy;
  • In partnership with Legal Recruiting and Human Resources, determines future talent needs and designs and delivers multi-year talent strategies focused on driving best in class candidate experiences and inclusive hiring practices;
  • Builds connections with diversity associations, pipeline organizations, diversity recruiting and branding professionals, law school affinity groups, networking groups, agencies, and other relevant partners to stay connected with the latest information on impactful diversity recruiting, sourcing, and branding;
  • Conducts market research, identifies trends, and recommends ways to evolve the Firm’s diversity recruitment efforts;
  • Develops training and presentations on practices related to diversity recruitment for various stakeholders;
  • Develops and analyzes talent acquisition metrics to improve inclusive hiring practices; and
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred;
  • At least 7-12 years of experience in a related role, preferably within a legal or other professional services environment; title will be dependent upon substantive work experience and educational credentials;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise across the D&I landscape, including current events, topical thought leadership and industry trends;
  • Ability to work and interact with attorneys and professional staff at all levels and develop a strong knowledge of the Firm;
  • Strong project management skills and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, problem solve, gather and analyze data, obtain consensus and implement change;
  • Ability to deal discreetly with confidential information; and
  • Availability to work additional hours, as needed.

 

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The estimated salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
